Rutgers Global–Study Abroad

Students may apply up to 9 credits earned in courses offered as part of a recognized Rutgers African study abroad program toward the minor in African Area Studies. There are two field school programs in Kenya (paleoanthropology; and primatology and ecology), programs in South Africa (Study Abroad and the Graduate School of Education's "South Africa Initiative"), in Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, and at London's School of Oriental and African Studies that would qualify for these credits.
