Access Africa Initiative - Study Abroad Event

CAS and RU Global-Study Abroad are expanding our study abroad programs in Africa. We are funding faculty who wish to develop new study abroad programs, subsidizing existing programs, and offering generous program fee reductions to undergraduate students. We are enormously grateful to the Mad Rose Foundation for making it possible for all our Rutgers undergraduates to study abroad in Africa.
In 2023, CAS faculty offered an array of courses in several African countries, including South Africa, Benin, Ghana, Senegal, and Tanzania, and new courses will launch this academic year.
If you have participated in one of these programs, or are thinking about developing a new program in Africa, please join us for lunch on this day. Students who have traveled to Africa this past year will share their experiences, and faculty who are planning new programs will describe what is in store.
All are welcome -- please invite your students!
