Study Abroad

Students may apply up to 9 credits earned in courses offered as part of a recognized Rutgers African study abroad program toward the minor in African Area Studies. There are three field school programs in Kenya as well as programs in South Africa that would qualify for these credits.

Kenya Field Schools: Paleoanthropology, Swahili, Primatology and Ecology

South Africa: Pietermaritzburg and Durban Campuses; Graduate School of Education
