The Rutgers Center for Historical Analysis presents many workshops for high school teachers that often include the teaching of African history. "Incorporating the African Slave Trade and its Legacy into the Curriculum" will be held on Friday, March 24, 2006 and lead by Professor Allen Howard of the History Department along with Professor Abena Busia of the English Department.
